Enforcement of Parking Regulations
Enforcement hours in most lots are 7 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Friday year-round; However, Residential Life spaces, MU Health Care parking structures and lots and 24-hour reserved spaces are enforced 24 hours a day. Vehicles may be towed on the first violation.

MU Parking & Transportation Services issues citations and authorizes towing; however MU Health Care Hospital Security is authorized in their parking structures and lots to issue citations and authorize towing.
MU Police may issue citations at any time for illegal parking, specifically in accessible spaces, fire lanes, loading zones, reserved spaces or along yellow curbs.
Signs stating restrictions are posted at parking structure and lot entrances.
The University of Missouri assumes no responsibility for articles left in vehicles, or for loss by theft of any vehicle, or any part thereof, or for damage that may be caused to any vehicle or part thereof, by fire, by trespassers, or by any patrons of MU.
To discourage excessive violations and towing, once a person receives more than three violations in one semester MU assesses an excessive-violation fee of $25 per citations 4-7 and $75 for citations 8 and beyond.
