Game Day Parking

At certain times during the year, Game Day parking provisions go into effect to help accommodate visitors to campus for athletic events. During these times, some permit holders receive a notification to relocate their vehicle before and after the event.


Football Parking Provisions

Game Day parking provisions go into effect before every home football game as the university prepares to welcome thousands of visitors to Memorial Stadium for the game.

Home Games for 2023

Visit the Mizzou Athletics site for the full 2023 Football schedule. Home games include:

  • Thursday, August 31 vs. South Dakota
  • Saturday, September 9 vs. Middle Tennessee
  • Saturday, September 16 vs. Kansas State
  • Saturday, October 7 vs. Louisiana State University
  • Saturday, October 21 vs. South Carolina
  • Saturday, November 11 vs. Tennessee
  • Saturday, November 18 vs. Florida

Vehicle Relocation

Permit holders in affected areas will receive notification ahead of when Game Day parking provisions go into effect instructing them to temporarily relocate their vehicle as follows*:

  • Before the game: Between 5 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. on Friday** before a game,relocate your vehicle and park in another location option (based on your regular permit location) as outlined below.
    • Vehicles not moved are subject to tow at the owner’s expense.
    • Normal parking locations are closed to regular parking on Saturday, unless otherwise noted.
  • After the game: Between 12 a.m. Sunday and 6:59 a.m. Monday after a game, return your vehicle to your regular permit location.

*Timings vary for home games held on days other than Saturday. Affected permit holders should consult the notification email received ahead of the game for instructions.
**Hospital and health sciences employees should relocate to alternate parking locations between 3 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on Saturday.

Other Lot Closures

Metered lots CG17 and Virginia Avenue are closed for regular parking while Game Day parking provisions are in effect.


Basketball Parking Provisions

Game Day parking provisions go into effect for men’s basketball home games as the university accommodates visitors to Mizzou Arena.

Home Games for 2023-2024

Vehicle Relocation

Permit holders in affected areas will receive notification ahead of when Game Day parking provisions go into effect instructing them to temporarily relocate their vehicle as follows*:

  • Weekday games: Affected lots will be closed for regular parking beginning at 4 p.m. on game day.
  • Weekend games: Affected lots will be closed for regular parking the full day on which the game takes place.

Other Affected Lots

Entrances to Lot SG2 will be monitored prior to game time and gated in the evening. Once gates are in place, only official vehicles and eligible basketball attendees will be allowed back to park in the lot. Employee overflow parking is available near the Old Beef Barn or gas station.


Event Parking

Parking permits for football and basketball games are available for purchase through Mizzou Athletics. To purchase a permit, or report a vehicle illegally parked during a game, contact Mizzou Athletics.


Towed Vehicles

Vehicles towed off campus while Game Day parking provisions are in effect are removed by Tiger Towing. To retrieve a towed vehicle and pay any associated fees, contact Tiger Towing.
