To purchase a visitor permit; follow the prompts.
You cannot purchase a visitors permit in advance. Our online system only allows the purchase of a visitor permit the day of the visit. If the visit is Monday, the earliest purchasing time is midnight on the preceding Sunday. To purchase a visitor permit ahead of time visit our office to have our staff assist you.
Parking is monitored and vehicles can be cited for improper parking from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
MU Health Care and Residential Life parking spaces are monitored 24 hours a day.
If you prefer to pay metered parking (where kiosks are available) on your smartphone, you can download the Flowbird app.
Meters accept only coins, unless otherwise specified. Meters that use coins accept U.S. coins only and do not provide change.

Enforcement hours are 7 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Friday year-round; Residential Life spaces, MU Health Care parking structures and lots and 24-hour reserved spaces are enforced 24 hours a day.
Vehicles may be towed on the first violation. Visitors must register their vehicle and purchase a temporary virtual permission via the portal or use metered parking.
