EV charging stations are available on campus for use by the Mizzou community and visitors to charge their electric vehicles regardless of permit status. EV parking spaces are reserved for electric vehicles that are actively charging. Meter payment or a parking permit is not required when actively charging a vehicle. Charging stations can be found at the following locations:

Charging Details
Mizzou uses ChargePoint Level 2 charging stations. Each station has two ports. Before using a station, you must download the ChargePoint app and create an account.
There are three ways to charge once you download the ChargePoint app, create an account and log in — a phone, a card or the app. Make sure to turn off your EV in your vehicle and open your charge port lid and cap before charging. There should be a button or release for the charge port lid in your EV, like a fuel door.
- Tap: Tap your phone with the ChargePoint app signed into your account.
- App: From the app, choose the station where you are located and click the “Start Charge” button.
- ChargePoint card: Tap your activated ChargePoint card on the card reader symbol on the station. As soon as your vehicle is charged, please move your vehicle to another available location in the lot and pay the metered rate.
EV drivers are encouraged to observe proper etiquette when charging. ChargePoint offers tips on its website.
