Tiger Avenue Parking Structure Repairs
The Tiger Avenue Parking Structure (TAPS) will close temporarily for the summer for maintenance work starting Monday, May 18. Repairs, which began in March, are being made to the structure’s drainage system, signage, exterior and stairwells, and are part of Mizzou’s long‑term plan to improve the safety, appearance and longevity of campus parking structures.
The structure is scheduled to reopen in mid-August.
Permit holders will be relocated as follows:
- Level 1-2 permit holders will be relocated to WG6 (summer permit rate reduced from $105 to $63 in May, June and July)
- Level 3-6 permit holders will be relocated to the Virginia Avenue Parking Structure (VAPS)
- Medical students to Parking Structure No. 7 (PS7)
Between 80-100 spaces will remain available for ADA (first come, first served basis) and MU Health Care emergency parking throughout the closure. Signs will direct drivers to parking spots.
