Tiger Avenue Parking Structure Reopens

The Tiger Avenue Parking Structure (TAPS) will reopen in August 2026 in two phases after a $6 million repair project that began in March. TAPS closed to regular parkers May 18.

Reserved permit holders may return TAPS Monday, Aug. 3, 2026, when Levels 1-2 will reopen. All other permit holders can return to the structure Saturday, Aug. 15, when Levels 3-6 reopen.

Repairs were made to the structure’s drainage system, signage, exterior and stairwells, and were a part of Mizzou’s long‑term plan to improve the safety, appearance and longevity of campus parking structures.

During the project, permit holders were relocated as follows:

  • Level 1-2 permit holders were relocated to WG6 (summer permit rate reduced from $105 to $63 in May, June and July).
  • Level 3-6 permit holders were relocated to VAPS and could park on any level.
  • Medical students were relocated to Parking Structure No. 7 (PS7).

  • Overnight permit holders were relocated to CG1.

Between 80-100 spaces remained available for ADA (first-come, first-served basis) and MU Health Care emergency parking throughout the closure. An entrance remained open off Kentucky Boulevard.
