Office of Parking & Transportation Services

MU Parking & Transportation Services is currently undergoing a transition in our operation. This affects the manner in which we issue parking permits, enforce parking structures and lots and issue citations. We thank you for your patience and flexibility during this time.

The Office of Parking & Transportation Services performs a variety of functions for the MU campus and community. Those include maintaining parking lots and structures, providing the Tiger Line campus shuttle service and making parking assignments for MU students and employees. Funding for these services is provided entirely from fees collected from the users of the system and a portion of each student's activity fee.

All vehicles parking on University property must be registered with the Parking & Transportation Services office unless parked in a metered space.

New this Fall, you will have to submit your license plate number and state to purchase a virtual parking permit.

Students living in a Residence Hall in Fall 2016 can begin to purchase their virtual parking permit on August 1.

Permits for students not living in a residence hall are sold based on class standing and priority is given to upperclassmen who purchase during their priority dates. Permits will be sold based on space availability.
