Updated Tiger Line Cleaning Information

In an effort to provide Social Distancing on all Tiger Line buses, the following actions were agreed to between the City of Columbia and the University of Missouri, Columbia.

  • All shuttles will be running at 50% capacity due to social distancing requirements.
  • All shuttles for Trowbridge Livestock Center (#402), Hearnes (#401) and Research Reactor (#403), including departures from the Student Center, will arrive and depart together.
    • The shuttles will proceed to their destination in a caravan (a group of vehicles traveling together). With one shuttle for the evening and weekend routes.
    • Buses will operate as close to a (20) twenty minute schedule as traffic allows.
  • Students may board any of the buses available at any of the locations identified (unless the shuttle is full) and request to get off at any intersection along the routes using the pull cord to notify drivers.
  • All GoCOMO drivers and riders are required to wear a facemask. For the driver’s protection, a plexiglass barrier has been installed at the driver’s seat.
  • Drivers will wipe down all hard surfaces at the end of each run. This occurs at the Student Center or 6th & Stewart (Engineering).
  • Hand sanitizer is available at both doors on all buses.
  • The following information is posted on all buses:
    • COVID-19 HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF & OTHERS EVERYONE SHOULD:
      • Wash your hands often (at least 20 seconds) or use a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
      • Avoid close contact through social distancing with other people.
      • Public Health & Human Services/Centers for Disease Control recommends wearing a mask in public if you can’t social distance.
      • Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your elbow.
      • Dispose of the tissue in a trash can. Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces often.
  • All buses will be cleaned each night by GoCOMO transit staff.
