Office of Parking & Transportation Services performs a
variety of functions for the campus, including maintenance
of parking lots, shuttle bus services
and parking assignments for employees
and students. Funding for these systems
comes entirely from fees collected from the users of the systems
and a portion of each student's activity fee.
All vehicles parking on campus must display
a valid parking permit unless parked in a metered space. Parking
meters are located throughout campus for short-term parking.
Parking permits are available from Parking & Transportation
Services, Turner Ave Garage, Level 2.
For students living in off-campus fraternity/sorority houses requesting overnight campus parking,
the lot assignment will be in lot SG-7 (west side of Memorial Stadium) or SG-4 (Hearnes Center).
Overnight parking is not provided in University garages for students living in
off-campus housing that are not part of Residential Life.
Enforcement of Parking Regulations
is enforced 24 hours a day including disabled spaces, yellow
curbs, fire lanes, loading zones, and reserved spaces. Parking
regulations are enforced at all times
including periods when classes are not in session.
Signs are posted at lot entrances stating restrictions. Visitor
parking is available at meters or
permits may be purchased at Parking & Transportation Services.
Bicycles must be registered at the
University Police Department. Any vehicle in violation may
be ticketed and/or towed.
