Enforcement of Parking Regulations

Enforcement of parking regulations is done by the University Police (573-882-7201), Hospital Security (573-882-7147), and The Office of Parking & Transportation Services (573-882-4568). Parking violation notices may be issued to any vehicle parked illegally. Vehicles may be towed on the first violation.

The University of Missouri assumes no responsibility for articles left in vehicles, or for loss by theft of any vehicle, or any part thereof, or for damage which may be caused to any vehicle or part thereof, by fire, by trespassers, or by any patrons of MU.

Effective October 1, 1996 - in order to reduce excessive violators and the need for towing, the University will add an excessive violation fee to violators who have received more than five tickets.

After the fifth violation, an excessive violation fee of $15 will be added per violations.

With the eleventh violation, the excessive violation fee increases to $50 per violation.
